Frew Farms is an agribusiness known for their farming, management, production, and marketing of agricultural commodities, such as livestock and crops. Frew farms is a long-term family owned and operated business. Frew Farms takes pride in the ability to raise and sell healthy cattle in order to benefit people and improve their quality of life. Currently, Frew Farms is seeking an Office Manager.

The Office Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating administration duties and office procedures. He/she is motivated by ensuring that the office is running smoothly and the company procedures and day-to-day operations are well-organized. The Office Manager will create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring organizational effectiveness and communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver orientation and training for new employees
• Evaluate and manage staff performance and internal staff relations
• Provide direction to staff about their task and duties
• Manage benefit administration
• Produce job advertisements and ensure they are posted to attract candidates
• Develop and sustain policies and procedures; review, evaluate and implement
• Assist with budget development
• Manage the organization’s books; processing of A/P, A/R and bank reconciliation
• Coordinate interaction with the bank about current financial state
• Process payroll to ensure staff are paid correctly and on time
• Establish and maintain relationships with customers
• Plan and organize staff meetings; create agenda and document meeting minutes
• Provide general support to visitors as the first point of contact for all visitors
• Consult with customers to organize the deliver products
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Supply information and resources to customers, employees and management
• Manage and update internal databases
• Collect and maintain confidential employee and customer information
• Order office supplies, customer gifts and arrange for service calls
• Ensure decisions do not have a negative impact on the organization

• High school Diploma
• Post-secondary education in Office Administration, Business, Bookkeeping or Agri-Business is an asset
• Knowledge of farming, crops and cattle is an asset
• Familiarity with accounting, payroll and benefit administration
• Experience in an agricultural office position would be beneficial

• Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Capable of maintaining a professional attitude at all times
• Able to deal with difficult people while maintaining a level head and a positive attitude
• Dedication to preserving staff and client confidentiality
• Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• Able to analyze data and present information to staff and senior management
• Sufficient ability to work independently and make suitable decisions for the organization
• Exceptional time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
